My dad passed away about a year and half ago, and, now that I have more space, I was able to pick up these bikes that were left to me. There is no story, really, he had only owned them for maybe a couple of years, but they will make some nice greenline cruisers. I'll have to acquire some new knowledge/skills to work on these as well, and that's always fun.
Date stamps on the SA hubs are 74 for the lady's and 73 for the men's:

Condolences for your dad's passing, but you have some nice bikes there to honor his memory. The men's has been upgraded with a Dynohub, lamp, and B66 saddle, making it akin to a Superbe. There should be a date code on the dynohub in the same format as the S-A rear hub.

74 on the dynamo hub. I’m not sure if the Brooks is from the period. It certainly looks newer.
