Bicycle Love (pictures)

I know that all of you guys and gals here love riding bikes (or at least taking pictures of bikes), and several have significant others that also share this hobby. After I read about how kaz's hubby bought a bike so that they could ride bikes together, it gave me this idea for a thread, since I (similarly) built up a bike for my girlfriend so we could ride bikes together for something fun to do.

So heres the deal, share pictures of you and your significant others bicycles, together preferably, since I know that you probably already have these pictures.

I'll go first

Mine: Schwinn World Sport conversion, that I built on the cheap
Hers: GT rapid transit that was in the trash (people are stupid in college towns)

Do powdercoat if you can!

if you have access to an angle grinder, get a wire brush attachement for it and you can strip off most of the paint with it, then do the rest by hand with some sandpaper. If your frame is all prepped and ready, it should be pretty cheap to have someone spray it.

I do not has dats. I think I'll get it running as is, then see if she likes it before I put a ton of money in.

This was from a while back, they don't look anything like this now.

Switched out the Deda's on my bike to her Swobo Sanchez, along with a Deda stem.

Got a Romin comp on my bike now, with different drops and Omniums.

Even though the bikes are pictured together, we don't really ride together a whole lot.

And when we do, our styles clash. She's more "let's cruise and take it easy" and I'm more "let's get the hell there already".

Sorry, not great pics I have plenty of single bike shots, but never thought to take a nice pic of both together.

Our "old school mtn bikes now replaced with a couple of Trek x-cals. His Giant was regifted to our BIL. My Rockhopper is awaiting it's next iteration as a tourer or commuter or maybe I'll just keep her for the gravel roads I love to explore.

Our main rides: Spec Allez, both getting a little long in the tooth

In '79 I bought my first "good" bike, a Centurion Omega (wish I still had her). My Dh (then boyfriend) bought the same bike, same color. We took a lot of flack for having matching bikes. We rode a tandem for a few years too. Nothing better than when you both like to ride...except everything costs x2

Arabesque on the lotus and 6207 shimano 600 on the trek. Pretty happy with them for the $500 I have in the pair.

Got a mtb pair too, but no pics.
