But somebody's going to need those swatches when they need help deciding what paint to choose for their interior and exterior walls and trim.

Paint chips like those actually have an expiration date. Stores throw them out all the time. TMYK.

I was not sure what to expect from "Lowe's fixie," but then I looked at the image, and it made perfect sense.
