At least he made it right... right on the spot.
Dude must've been loaded.

Still kicking.
Today I had an eye doctors appointment, then put in 40 miles.

Scrod, if some stranger was in my house doing their laundry, it would probably be the last time they did anything.
That is ****ing bananas. Who would think thats ok?

**** her. She doesn't know you guys, so she can't judge. **** that ****.
Today I got a gentle nudge from a car in the parking lot of my shop while test riding a customer's bike. Just enough of a nudge to send me into the curb, fall over, and land on the pocket my two-week-old phone was in. Dude that hit me was on the phone and eating a burger, admitted fault, bought the customer a new bike (similar to his old one) on the spot, walked with me to the Verizon store in the strip mall and paid for me to order a new phone, and drove away in his Land Rover. Good times.

Dude, if I could've snuck my bike under his wheels I totally would've.
Nah, I'd rather not get hit by anyone ever.
Customer kept it. Honestly, it wasn't in terrible shape. The for was bent and front wheel went out of true (I hit a curb).

Seriously. The one and only time I was hit by a car (that dove into the bike lane and slammed on his brakes... trying to get a spot) I was on my cervelo... which was definitely worth more than this dude's car. He was freaking skettttccchhyyyy.

This. I will forever have a faux-vagina carved into my shin thanks to the last car fender to dig into me.
Also, this. Both times I've been hit it's been by nurses who drive white cars, too. ****ing weird.
"I can't afford this! (in between sobs)" <--- Identitical quotes from both incidents, but neither time were those words uttered by the dude whose bike/body got thrashed.
tl;dr: people are dumb.

Fresh Garbage
Got my yellow/white fade Centurion LeMans. All 6208 with 6207 crankset, very pretty. The parts will mostly be kept as spares as I rebuild the frame with my modern 105 group. I will keep the brake calipers on it though. It will be a good conversion frame when find something nicer for gears
Work was weird with two new employees on a slow day. I really showed off how awkward I can be

Still kicking.
This reminds me, I had a close encounter today involving me, some lady in a dark grey mazda, and some dodo in an old clapped out white nissan sentra with a black passenger side front fender who decided that the gap between me and the lady in the mazda was plenty wide and proceeds to gun it and go in the gap, I didn't flinch, which kind of worries me.

Today I finally finalized my wheelset. Math puts it at sub 1900 grams, and aero as hell.
Also doesn't break the bank.

The front is an H+Son Formation face radially laced to a Circus Monkey road hub (including allen skewer) with Sapim CX-Rays and Polyax nipples, with velocity veloplugs. Comes in at 843 grams. The rear is the same but 3 cross laced to a Novatec. comes in at 1050 grams.
So, sub 1900, 42mm deep, bladed spokes, and comes in under $450.
You could easily shave off a hundred bucks if you used Lazers instead of CX-Rays.

Painfully average.

Yeah I have sapim laser on my A23's. I quickly found out though that wheelbuilding is not for me. Too impatient and my hand cramps easily

swapped out my drop bars to mustache bars with cloth tape, did a quick 15 miles to test them out, fell in love with them.
