Mounted like this, they will slide out.
That's correct for current Campy brakes. Is it true for those Deltas?

Pads are replaceable. I would say they are installed incorrectly.

Ha yes it was! I didn’t notice until I looked at the picture (taken several months ago) and I fixed it. I’d forgotten about that and would have been too embarrassed to post this if I’d remembered!

Thank you all. Its a slow build but I have my guy in the wings with access to a 3D CNC router. He fabricates custom stuff for my other nutty projects. Mostly automotive. Ill check back and update because It irks me when people ask questions and dont contribute to a forum.

Side note, the Specelissima didnt call out to me....or it would have been my first choice.

It turns out that there is an adapter that comes with the Tririg "Omega" brake (which is basically a delta brake). I don't see that the company offers it separately, but perhaps you could sweet-talk them.

Thanks Adam. I ran across the Tririg units but thought that the single mount bolt hole might not line up vertically with the Deltas. It is still an option but the adapter is not on their website as 'sold separately'. A bottle of Petron might sweeten the deal.

So far, I got the frame, headset, handlebars, Vintage NOS Campy Record pedals, seat post and saddle (and a pair of Shimano brakes until I figure out the Deltas). En-route are tires, wheels, crank set. Still need shifters, cables (cant decide on yellow or celeste), tape, cassette and derailleurs.

I should hopefully have it finished by the end of Jan. Ill post pics then.

Thank you all for the collective expertise.

Well, the build went a little sideways from the original mental build. But she is done and Ive put about 20 miles around the hood to shake her out. I havent been on a bike in years due to a spinal injury but today was the day for her first ride. 72 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and grinning ear to ear. Ive really missed riding a bike.

A picture as promised. Thanks for the help.

The bike looks nice, but where are the bright shiny triangular brakes?

looks like you can afford to buy YET another bike to fit those <C> brakes onto.

....and if you do with Deltas, don’t forget the very necessary 3.5mm Allen key. If you find one, buy two, very rare.
