Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Netflix Unchained Series

I know there are two other threads about this in other forums, so feel free to remove (Mods).

But those other forums don’t have a ton of traction and I thought that some in this group may not go to the other categories.

wondering if you all enjoyed this series. I personally loved watching it. I thought the camerawork, editing and story lines were well done.

I think this is thread #4 related to this show. Some of them have had good discussion already.

I really enjoyed it. Others did not. Such is the nature of opinions.

I liked "The Least Expected Day" better. I don't know if it is just that the... well let's just call it "passion" that the entire Movistar team, especially the managers and owner showed was what made it so more interesting or what. But the TdF Unchained is a little slow going and like trying to read some of the overly long posts by some here on BF.

But I've made it to episode 4. So I'm hanging in there.

I enjoyed it. I was watching it while my wife was in the room and one of the people they were interviewing was talking about how bike racing is not just about going the fastest, that tactics and strategy are involved, and even though I could have sworn she wasn't paying attention, she said, "I never knew that!"
