Pre Exa-Drive Campy 8 spd A-H Markings - How to Assemble?

I am finishing up on a full (simi-modern) restoration of a '72 Colnago Super and am changing out a Campy 8 spd 13-26 cassette with an 8 spd 12-28 cassette.

The problem is there are no Deltas on the cogs like the 13-26 has and there are no wide spines for alignment (the hub doesn't have a wide alignment for a wide spine either). Only markings on each cog - A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H.

There aren't ramps on the cogs but some of the teeth have divots in them.

I know this is an old cassette but does anyone have a chart or something that would give me the info for aligning the cogs onto the hub?

Thanks,

Carl

Now thats a Italian way of doing things! From their Example I came up with: 32-A, 28-F, 24-H , 21-A, 19-E, 17-B, 15-D, 13-D.

For my cassette I came up with: 28-A, 24-H, 21-E, 18-G, 16-A, 14-F, 13-A, 12--.

I'm impressed that you still had this chart Paul!

Thanks,

Carl
