Mods, please close thread. For Sale - Vintage patches
Our daughter purchased an old 1880's church and inside is a hoard of bicycles and related "stuff". As time permits, we will be posting threads of items she would like to find new homes for. We are not experts in bicycles or related accessories so please excuse our ignorance as we post items for sale.
If you want any of these patches, please indicate the group photo number and then the patch description.
Paypal is preferred but we will also accept postal MO.
Add $1 for postage to the listed price.

Wow, someone was a cyclist in the Columbus Ohio area. TGRR was the Ohio State University's Cycling Club's own ride (the inaugural was '77 when I was there) that hit the five reservoirs north of the city. MOC was Mid-Ohio Century that started in Delaware, OH. Both of those were April 'warm-up rides' for TOSRV that was held on Mother's Day Weekend.
Of course TOSRV was the biggie with 5-6000 riders when I rode them '77-82. Columbus (when I rode it it started at the State House (capitol building)) to Portsmouth on the Ohio River. TOSRV took over SR104 for the weekend. The busier US23 was on the other side of the Scioto River.

Interesting collection of memorabilia. I worked as a graphic designer back in the 80s and 90s and designed a number of T-shirts, flyers and patches for our local club, the Illinois Valley Wheelmen out of Peoria, IL. The LAW had a patch design contest annually for the different holiday and special event rides they sponsored where members could submit designs for the patches that would be passed out at these rides. The 4th of July patch in panel 7 is one of a half dozen or so that I designed for them. I think I still have one of these in a box stuck away somewhere.

Where is the church purchased? Would love to see some pics. I went to OSU in Columbus so spent a lot of time in OH in the 90's.

BTW, The patches are no longer for sale because we have misplaced them. We have looked high and low and can't find them anywhere. They must have rode off into the sunset. Sorry...

Found the patches. Mary misplaced them and we finally found them so they are back up for sale again. Sorry for the long delay but the above posts should tell you what is still available.
