What would you like to know? If you provide the serial number we could probably get a year. First letter denotes the year
M-84
O-85
P-86
etc...

As is, it's an early example of mtb most likely made between 1985 1990. The first mtb design was manufactured in 82 but for the first couple of years were framesets with other road or bmx components cobbled on. By 85 they were putting out mtb specific design and components. It's a rigid, 26" with ATB style tires of that era. Nice groupset, probably Shimano LX or XT or some Suntour parts, nice aluminum seatpost etc... Early generation aluminum rims. Lugged frame, chromoly - maybe double butted, forged dropouts. A year would narrow some of that down.

In all, a very nice example of the basic mtb, before suspension and wide range gearing. Good for JRA but many technical mtb trails are made these days for bikes that can handle a lot more so it's dated in what it can do. No crazy drops or rock gardens. They are however, one of the best overall designs for bikes ever made. You can make a trail bike, a dropbar conversion road bike, a utility bike, a beach cruiser or a loaded touring bike.

Ended up buying the bike .Took a few more pictures. The bike is a 1986 triple butted frame. Frame has no dents or rust and very few minor scratches. Ukai rims .I changed the brake and
shift cables and housings. It rides very nice but I'm not really into Mtn bikes and I'm thinking of selling it or trading it.Would make a nice urban cruiser.
