Gravel Near Lake Ocoee, TN?
I'm interested in gravel routes north of the Ocoee River and Lake Ocoee, in the area bounded by Benton in the west and Turtletown/Ducktown in the east, as far north as the Hiwassee River.
An example is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28747827
I've been south of the lake, all through the Cohutta and Big Frog and not really interested there. Ideally I'd like to explore along the Hiwassee river.
What about along the river east of the swinging bridge? There are train tracks - are these still in service? Is there a way to get to the looping train tracks near the river north of Farmer? Anything to see there?
Is Kinsey Mountain Highway nice?
Any other thoughts or input would be appreciated.
