Vintage Bike fork

Hi guys,

I recently got hold of a vintage bike, almost 30 years old, and decided I would try restoring it to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, the fork has a massive bend on it and I cannot seem to find the same size replacement (24 * 1 3/8
wheels) for it around my country(Kenya).

However, I found one which was an inch taller than the one that's on the bike. Now here's the question, is it possible for me to fit the inch taller fork on it?

Thanks.

If the two bikes have different size wheels, then it will not work, as either the wheel will not fit or the brake calipers will not reach the wheel sidewalls to function.
If the two bikes have the same size wheels, then it should work. The only thing that will need attention is the longer steerer tub on the replacement fork .
If the size difference is only 1", then, you should be able to just add 1" worth of spacers (Which most bike shops have) between the top cup of the headset and the locknut.

.... IF the steerer tube is threaded far enough down, yes. Otherwise the threads need to be extended.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

... or a bunch of (presumably) 1" diameter spacers between the upper bearing cup of the headset and the locknut that holds it all in place.

Sorta like this:
