Basso 57cm 80s ?
No idea about the year or the tubing of frame (decal worn off). Someone swapped out a bunch of stuff. What's the approximate value of whole bike or frame? Thanks

Based upon the remains of the Columbus tubing decal, the frame appears to have SL or SP in the main tubes (Tretubi) and some other chromoly in the stays. I'd date it from the mid-1980s. The fork is a replacement, and the groupset is mixed (Suntour shifters and perhaps brakes, Campagnolo rear derailleur) so that hurts the value. Nice Selle Italia Flite Titanium saddle though.
For the frame alone, somewhere between $150 to $200. For the complete bike in that condition, $300 to $400.

The sunject bicycle appears to be a heavily modified basso Arrenacia, circa 1985-1987. The serial number will tell us the exact year of manufacture.

Rust underneath the head tube/down tube juncture... Any buckling on the down and top tubes? Replacement fork plus suspect rust spots would make me skeptical of a crash.
Daytona, plus Sun Tour GPX, plus some conglomeration of brakes/levers...interesting little guy/gal. As a bike, a bit more unity might give it value if you have some parts lying around.
Bassos seem to be lingering on ebay (frames and bikes), but maybe locally they might do better.

I picked up a late 80's Tretubi frame locally last year for around $250 (can't remember the exact price). Didn't have a model name, so call it an Arrenacia or a Paris-Roubaix. I really wasn't looking to buy, but it had a complete 7-speed Chorus/Athena group, and the same exact paint scheme as my Loto, so I said what the heck...

I sold this Basso last fall for $375. It had all Campy components except brakes (Modolo). It was in excellent condition. I paid significantly less than that when I bought it.
