Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I did way back in the Meilenstein thread, but to save you looking.
- can't be trued, repaired
- narrow rim, rather old fashioned now.
- worse aerodynamics, more drag, less stable in cross winds.
The Zipps are similar to the Enves as well.

Do you prefer the Meilenstein over your Zipp NSW?
Why?

I like the thought of blue Chris Kings. I actually used the turquoise ones on a matte black BMC build a few months ago and 7-8 riders have commented on them. They do stand out without being too garish. I also love the sound. The DT240s get a bit loud so will have to quieten those down. The Chris Kings don't ever get annoyingly loud but can be quietened down with a light touch of their ring lube. I think my next wheelset will be Zipps or Enves but undecided on hubs. I am not sure that the 454 new hubs are going to be more dependable or durable. The 188/88s were a relative disaster. Were the 177/77s much better?

Good for you! $3600 seems like a lot to spend on brakes! What's better about them?

The exclusivity and the fact that everyone and their momma doesn't have 'em!

They'd look pretty cool, but not as cool as the fibulas.

Dura Ace C50 Tubulars
Stages R9100 powermeter
Vittoria Corsa Speed G+ tubulars
PRO bar / stem combo

Maybe Ceramic Speed pulley wheels
I agree with this. You can always "improve" on stock, just you can't make it better.
I thought -
2015 Sky used FMB tires.
2016 I think the Conti.

The THM Fibula brakes look like the best option, unless someone can find something else more expensive, in stock, and ready to ship with nice packaging?

Guess that's worth $ to some. Life could get pretty expensive if that's how you live. I assume you drive something like a 675LT?

I think they are both ugly, but that isn't part of the criteria here.

That's why I figured you'd like 'em and I'd show you! Plus, I feel like it's only appropriate to use GERMAN brakes on GERMAN wheels!
