Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've posted my '00 5200 before, but she just got an upgraded wheelset--Kyserium SL3--and a wash and wax:

And here's a family shot with her sister, my '89 660 fixed gear:

Its a 97. I know the woman who rode it before me and I know the shop who she bought it from and who serviced it when I bought it, so I had no qualms about buying second hand carbon (especially since Trek made the OCLV lifetime warranty retroactive). But like I said, it was a woman who was riding it before me and, especially afte this morning's ride, Im very sure its a woman specific saddle. I have plenty piercing posterior pain

Rather than start a new thread, could people make some contributions to this sadly neglected one?! Come on people show us your Treks!

I'll be adding mine when I have it.

Here is my 2001 USPS Postal. One of the more famous models IMO as this is the one he climbs with in the beginning of Road to Paris. Bought it for posterity and ride it every so often. This is my favorite looking Trek of all the ones he won the TDF on.

There's the original picture as I got it. I'm building her up as a tri bike in a few weeks.

Here's a throwback to 1984. Trek 760 with 531P tubing. Campy centaur shifters and crankset, veloce everything else. Neuvation R28SL2's and shimano cassette. The neuvations are the race wheels.
Might swing for a 1inch carbon fork with this new found stimulus check. Not sure though, I'd do it if it brought the bike to sub 20 lbs with new bars stem and fork. It's 22 lbs as it stands right now.
