Sacramento, I now live in you
If you see someone lost on a brakeless Redline 925, it's probably me.
I'll probably be in the dorms (CSUS) for these first couple days, but then I'll get out. Any upcoming events I should know about?

Can't make it today, bunch of mandatory meetings and such. I read something about an alleycat on the 8th (I think), is that still happening?

You can even take light rail to 16th and P...then hop right on over to the park or check out the cafe right there. Sac is okay kinda boring but flat! Where did you hear about an alleycat?

No, I ended up getting the Redline at a heavy discount so I wouldn't have to worry about theft. Well, I'll worry about it, but not replacement. When I get a real house next year, I'll bring the Casati (which is now hanging in my old room in Santa Cruz, waiting for me to install my post-CPSC Nuovo Record cranks).

Nice thing about the bike trail is you can stop anywhere you want and jump in the American river. If you go all the way to Lake Natoma, there's a real nice beach there at the CSUS aquatic center. I think you can even take classes there for credit.

The trail runs right next to campus, so I'll definitely hit it up in the near future.

welcome to sac.
Its at least a pretty bike friendly town. Lived here my whole life and like it. Good luck at Sac State (my alma mater).
Definately ride the bike trail. You have a bridge right across campus. For hills and trails, auburn and folsom are great.
Cheers.

Are you the dude who gives his bike to his pupils to paint, regularly? And have you posted a really cool colorful bike sometimes last year? The other day I was thinking of that bike, and how cool an idea that was. I just wish there was some kind of paint that's easy for kids to work with, and yet persistent so it won't get off the frame.
