There are 3 types of cyclists. Those who can count in Roman numerals and those who can't.

I'm TRULY disappointed in this thread. I was not expecting a math problems in the post.

I guess I'd better get my mind out of the gutter.

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't. And then there's Strava, who pay attention to no math except that which they create for themselves.

From the Garmin:
66.12 miles, 3.17.02 moving time, 20.1mpg avg. speed, 231W NP, 2,518kJ

After Strava's mathematization:
66.10 miles, 3.19.11 moving time, 19.9mph avg. speed, 216W NP, 2,543kJ

I did my monthly challenge metric at over 20mph, Strava-- even after missing nearly every stoplight I came across. DEAL WITH IT.

Well computer should be back in a day or two.

Will spend most of next week trying to harvest a deer on the mornings and riding on the afternoon.

Trying to resist buying a 61cm Bianchi with 11 speed ultegra....it is a 2016 model that is new on the shop floor....

I rode 46 miles yesterday. Slowly but I did it. Longest ride since Cool Breeze 2016 with @PhotoJoe last year. One month until surgery

I haven't ridden a bike since a week ago yesterday, but I did do a 9 mile hike yesterday.

BTW...It takes III licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

One of my favorites. I have that on a T-shirt

There's also

There are two types of people in the world:
1. Those that can make inference from incomplete information.

Also here's one I made up myself:

There are three types of people in the world:
1. Hypocrites who admit it
2. Hypocrites who don't
3. People whose standards are too low

Yes. I got badly chafed from riding in wet shorts every day. I also need to take the touring/commuting bike in for service. Something is wrong with the front shifting. By the last 30 miles of the last day I couldn't get into the big ring. Think the cable might be coming out of the bar end shifter.

So you don't want me to tell you that it is at Scott's Cycle in Hermiston, Oregon? And you don't want me to tell you that they would ship it to you, or how smoothly it rides?

Oh and Scott's phone number is 541-567-1848

Are those the details you didn't want?

OUCH!

I had some shifting issues after my 2nd day, I had to break downb one night and re-index everything. Was solid enough to get me home.

I got the good ol over use knee pains I was suppose to ride today but I think I should take another day or two off.

Well ... Mother Nature is in the deep throes of her schizophrenia at the moment. Last week I was in arm warmers and contemplating my bib tights, the last two days it's been shorts and short sleeves, not even a base layer. I'm not complaining. The only thing I will complain about is the wind, which has been gusty the last two days. Add in the fact that it's harvest time and my hiding places from the wind are disappearing as fast as the combines run.

So I saw a big monster Mule deer buck with five points on each antlers the last two days.

He is smart, and I shot him both days....with my camera.

Pushed my ride to lunch rather than right after dropping the daughter off at school ... was chilly and raining at that time also

I am so happy!

I use Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive. For some strange reason in a recent update Microsoft thought it would be a good idea to implement an Auto Save feature in Excel. This meant that anytime I opened a spreadsheet it was immediately saved and reset the time/date stamp on the file. This creates havoc when trying to keep track of different versions of proposals I do as I rely on the timestamp to help keep track of what I've done and when. Also in some of my spreadsheets with macros AutoSave did not work, and Excel would pop up an annoying yellow bar across the top to tell me this, and I always had to manually close this. Furthermore it was constantly saving creating lots of upload traffic on my network and just adding another thing to slow down my computer.

And in typical Microsoft arrogance they did not offer an option to globally disable this "feature". You had to do it file by file, but as soon as you opened a file the timestamp was reset before I could disable it.

Anyway apparently they got enough blowback that they published a registry entry I could add that would banish this feature. I've added this to the registry on both computers and it works!

Ahhhhhhh.

Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 2. 2.75 lbs. packed weight. No way you are getting two people in that thing unless they are tiny.

Nice .... I recently "found" this REI Roadster tent I bought a few years back ... it's a solo tent, and when I say solo, I mean I jokingly refer to it as the coffin. I was excited I found it ... thought a crazy ex had stolen it
