I'm still looking for the news report that Adam fell of the side of the Galibier. I never saw Bernal go past him. I hate it when I have le Tour on at work in the background and people want to talk with me about work. Did he finish with Greipel?
Curse you, @one4smoke and your Bardet and your Movistar. Curse you, @dstrong and your Quintana (though good on ya, Nairo). At least the blood on the pavement is still behind me. Though for how long?
Crunch time. Let's see Egan's mom get out there and un-level the playing field.

Fantasy Tour 2019
Does the fantasy league score pts for stage 21? Is it good to hang on to a green jersey rider right now for stage 21? Or better to dump him for a climber for the next 2 days?

Nairo FTW! He hadn't done much for me up until now for sure. I suspect we'll have a new rider in yellow tomorrow.

I and Rigo have both stayed consistent at 9th place. Which is really what racing is all about, consistency.
Oh Nairo you seriously could've been in yellow today! What a wonderful ride he had

We all have our little ride casualties. Well, except for the guys transferring. For me, Rohan taking his ball and going home moments before the ITT added insult to my self-injury of picking him by mistake.
I'm counting on all the Colombian hemoglobin doing some goodness for me via Bernal in the last week at 2000+ meters. Though perhaps everyone has him.
@one4smoke, I did not stay upright. Had a bit of a get-off at around 50mph. Sort of like my podium action! But ATGATT and insurance, so it will be OK again eventually, sort of unlike my podium action?
Tuesday's stage -- I wish it was uphill at the end instead of pan flat and straight, I might go with Colbrelli. As is, I'm thinking Sagan comes out of the mountains better than the heavy guns, even with the rest day.

but these days, i tend to grab a fistful of brakes once the display gets near 40 mph. *sigh.*

^ oh, I'm fine. I was in full and mostly great motorcycle gear. In bicycle attire, you could get almost as much road rash as I did by falling over on chip & seal at a stop sign because you couldn't unclip. Just a smidgeon of forearm burn.
I hate those nearly naked bicycle skids.

Stage 20, clearly, there will be an alien landing. This is getting even weirder before it finishes.

Just throwing it out there that Rigo should get most combative for telling Nibali off and continuing to race

is there any truth to the rumor that egan's mom did a hail dance and left the hose running at the top of that mountainside?

with pinot's abandon/injury and alaphilippe's loss of the maillot jaune, looks like france is gonna hafta wait another year. juju would need a ton of it to retake yellow on stage twenty.

Stage 20. The saga continues.

"Landslides" is a euphemism for washouts from alien landing sites. QED.
No confirmation of pilot identity, yet, @DLBroox, but you may be onto something.
Sad for Bernal he didn't get the full victory experience.
Egan's mom may have gotten a little misguided and hurt her boy. Despite Juju's steadfast belief in his power descent, I think Bernal, Thomas, and the other GC faves were going to put some more time into him on the final descent. He got off easy. The folks that took it hardest are:
1) Thomas
2) the coat hanger, +/- Buchmann, scrapping for the podium
3) @dstrong and me, especially me, because Barguil didn't have time to crumble and @one4smoke got an extra kiss in the standings and top step of the podium got a little further away.
I have no earthly idea what is going to happen in the mountain sprint. Better be warmed up, lads.

Why don't I see the results yet? slcbob...do you keep your own version and score it after each stage? Agree that Alaphilippe actually was a winner today...he would have lost a ton on the final climb.

Sure wish points could have been scored today. You and I would probably have been 1 and 2.

Where does it say that today didn't count? I looked all over the site but couldn't find any comments.

Not sure why the site didn't or hasn't awarded points, since there are official finishing results.

There seem to be some new points there now. When I was writing earlier, I may have thought it already had scored but I was commenting on personnel not points -- having glanced (AKA creeped) on teams and noted our differences, in this case @one4smoke's distinct Barguil pick.
Speaking of the rare staffing exceptions, Nibali finally grabbed me a few points. Unfortunately, not enough for Ewan, another of my outliers, to close the deal on le Champs.
By the way, I read the zeroes and spot 11s across the board to be related to the new "round" of this league which is moot for all of us except Senator Jeffords in faux first and J Mac Daddy flipping his way back the laughing bunch. I honestly can't tell when this thing has scored.
So, all out mountain sprint today. Caruso may take a flier for a shot at the polka dots, and all the GC riders in the Top N who still think they can crack Juju to wind up in the Top N-1 align to bludgeon the new national hero. I suspect (unhappily) it ends in a spectacularly French fail for him just off the podium, but we have the next generation(s)'s little Tommy.
