For those of you that have seen a grumpy looking commuter on a thirty five pound folding ATB (with mudguards) on Juniperro Serra/Sandhill, that's me.

And no, apparently it isn't summer yet...

It's guaranteed: I'm washing my windows *AND* watering my lawn this weekend.

Looks like Summer is here to stay, at least for the next week.

I caused the last rain by washing and waxing my car a day or two before. Now it's filthy. Never fails.

Yep. Sizzling in Vacaville. Rides will start at 7 am and conclude by 11, before the heat and/or wind comes up.

Frankly, I'm glad to be hot. The layering for riding was getting tiresome.

Hot down here in the valley. Time to hit the mountains for some real long climbs.

I forgot about this thread when I created a new one. Should have posted this here instead, as it's a sure sign that summer is here.

Normally these buzzing insects come out around here in the first week of May. This year they didn't come out until mid-June, due to the unusually cold and wet spring.

My computer showed 45C near woodside today. Good times, good times. I think I need to get NUUN tables or something for shorter, two hours or so, rides. Anyone know if they are sold in South Bay?

Yeah, a little warm this morning.
Re-learned a lesson on how my body reacts to the heat well before I reached my top milage...

Incredible... Like I moved back to England.... 3 nice days, and a thunderstorm. (That's if you get the nice days...)
Hey-ho, it was a great day to ride today, so shouldn't be complaining.
