It's on the other side of Exeter from you, near Crediton, between the villages of Sandford and Thorverton in Priorton Lane, which I have only just discovered from the Google map. Oddly, a couple of minutes from a place called Two Hoots. Here are some more photos from the same ride

I'm from Silverton, between Exeter and Tiverton, and for a period of 3 years used to spend the week in Torquay, where my mother taught at a school, and return to Silverton at weekends. This was between 1966 and 1969, and the last bus to Torquay on a Sunday night used to go via Teignmouth and I remember passing Shaldon. It must be nice to go back at Xmas. Have a great holiday!

i don't know the Clatworthys but i'm sure my Dad will - i'll check out to see if they're still in business.
Last time i was down i rode up to Haytor from shaldon - it was a great ride!

It's great to see someone from Devon seemingly in the lead Great photo, too!
