Hypothetically, could a person claim only the headbadge, and make someone else take the toeclips? I'd be interested in the headbadge, unless someone can post a current pic of a Trek that they own, that actually needs a headbadge. In that case, the nekkid Trek has priority, I believe.

I've been on the hunt for a while since my hb fell off my 770 during a ride. Picture when badge was still present.

I would be delighted to claim it if still available.

Nice badge, looks like rivets but not sure how you would set? Or are they brazed?. 1986 treks must have used glue/apoxy vs rivets as I have seen more than one 1986 missing the badge but no rivets, maybe this mixed it by model year or this is pre 86.

Just the other day I'm pretty sure I saw a picture of a Trek that was missing a head badge.

Until about 1981, the headbadges were attached using two brass screws. After that, the badges had an adhesive backing to hold them in place.

I have a trek in need of a badge. A 957, so it would be a good home if it is still available...

I have a Trek head badge laying around somewhere if anyone needs one. Though mine is probably one version newer. Came off a toasted aluminum frame that was dated somewhere between 88 and 92. Drop me a pm if interested.

I believe it may have been your bike but it had to be before the morning of 03/12.
That's a nice bike. Trek and touring gets me to look everytime.

The badge and clips arrived last Thursday. Thank you so much Wheels of Steel!!! Now I have to make sure the epoxy does not let loose of the badge.

The clips will go on my recently acquired 1966 Schwinn Paramount.
