Tsunoda Tristar 4 Wheel Bicycle
Hi all,
Im new to this forum in my quest of finding parts, reference images etc for bike that my dad bought me when i was a kid.
It was in parts stored in the storage. After spending about 2-3days online around with no find i thought i try my luck here.
The bike was purchased about 1992.
The only information i could find is its a Tsunoda Tristar.
I tried emailing them and they sent me a brochure in japanese but it was a different bike.
They told me that they had a limited production line of special order for an amusement park back in the 80s.
So in short im trying to find information of Tsunoda Tricycle bike (2 wheel front and 2 wheel back)
because my bike seems to be a combination of those two.
Please look at the images and if you by any chance know or have any information regarding this bike pls pass it on to me.
Thanks heaps in advance.

Interesting that it was called a "bicycle".....if it had four wheels......as "bi" means two....

What info are you looking for?
Tech, maintenance, repair?
Value?
History, production specs?
Pedal cars, quadricycles tends to rely heavliy on either custom parts from limited production runs. And/or generic stuff for linkages, ball joints etc.

The only thing that I can identify is the barrel of the shift lever, which is that of a Shimano Finger Tip model. If OEM, that would place it early 1970s.
S/N format has an extra alpha character to what they used on the 1980s Lotus models, so the interpretation is unknown.
Rough condition. Given that and the fact that it's a quadricycle, I don't see much value. This would have to be a labour of love.

By definition, it would be a quadcycle, n'est-ce pas?

Non omnino gravis
There aren't a whole lot of images of the Tsunoda Tristar out there, but I couldn't find any with four wheels-- they are have, you know... three. The Tri in Tristar is kind of a giveaway. It is bonkers, though.
The only things I know of with four wheels are like the Surrey pedicars you see at beach boardwalks. I'm curious to see images of a four-wheeled Tsunoda.

2 front wheel tricycle
and
2 back wheel tricycle
mine is kind of a weird mix between the two.. making it a quadcycle.
Even for those tricycle pic you attached, im having difficulties finding pics of those tsunoda tristar tricycle.
Do you have a good reference for images of those tristars by any chance? pls share!

A good start would be finding out which amusement park that was. There might be collectors of that particular park.
P.s. I can see your pictures now that you have 11 posts.
