By slim, do you mean smaller diameter tubes? If so, then steel is what you want. If you want light steel, check out Wabi Cycles - among others.

In fact, it comes with brakes. The brakes are actually some of the nicer parts on it. I posted the pic with out brakes.
I just figured brakes wouldnt be fast enough fixie bike slim frame. Know what I mean?
