Six13 - Do you ride a size 50cm ?
If so, how tall are you and what's your inseam measurements?
I'm trying to see if either 50 or 52 would fit me better. I'm 5'8", 30 inch inseam, 22 inch arm reach.
Thanks for the feedback, hopefully it'll help me get a good perspective.

You need to get measured, but at a glance you are more in the range for a 54. I just ordered a Six13 in a 56cm frame and I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam (pants) or 33" inseam (measured for bike fit).
Good luck.
Good luck.

Just curious, if you are spending $2500+ on a bike, why don't you get the size that fits you best? I'm almost positive that it won't be a 50cm bike unless you have very unusual proportions.

Assuming 30" is your cycling inseam and your arms are 22 inches long, you'd probably want a 52 with a shorter stem.

Which would handle better and be more efficient as well as lighter for the climbson fast pace club rides? This Cannondale would my "kick arse" bike, not necessarily for long haul rides.

The smaller frame would give you more saddle to bar drop and would be stiffer and more nimble since the frame is smaller. You may also get toe overlap.
I would get the 50

In general, does less flexibility argue in favor of the bigger frame because it would result in less drop (assuming stand-over height is sufficient)?

Is getting a bit of toe overlap a bad thing ?

You want the 50, 52cm in a sloping tube is too big. I got a 50cm Flyte but I could have gone 52.

I am 5' 6.5" tall with a 28" inseam. I ride a 53cm Six13 TeamOne. However, I would've been fine on a 52cm as well.

Six13 sizes: 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 63 cm
I could fit a 54 also, but I'm starting to realize I could got ideally 52, but aggressively a 50.

i would go with the 50. i'm 5'7" with a 29.3" inseam, and after a few fittings i was going to go with the CAAD8 in a 50 last year, and the CAAD8's and Six13's have the exact same frame measurements...

Im 59 with a 32 cycling inseam and ride a 54 CAAD8.
Im going to be changing to a 52cm for the shorter head tube / lower drop.
I also think stems of 110 and up handle better than a long TT and a short stem.
Toe overlap really only happens when going in small circles, not in actual riding.
fwiw; Igor Astarloa of Barloworld is 57 and rides a 50cm.

Besides, I was told in another thread not to worry about it....just stand over the frame and if you have an inch or so, that's it...then just fiddle with the seat until it feels right...
Go with the 52...the 50 will be too small on a Cannondale. Based on what you said. I added an inch as the measurement should be from the bottom of your foot to where you'd hit the seat...not your inseam, like you'd buy pants.

The difference between the 50 & 52 is exactly 0.375 inch, being the 52 "bigger" by that much (barely 1cm) all around

I would say 52, I am 5 feet 7 inches, 30" inseam and have flipped the stem with a fairly high seat but found an ace fit.
