Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They're all wide-range; I'd like a 10-36. Or even like 10-34. It's the same thing with their 12-speed cassettes; they all start at 11t and go rather high. My lowest gear is the equivalent of 44-34, and 44-10 is higher than my second-highest (and I basically never use even that). All this blathering on about supposedly "wasted" ratios in doubles and they still waste ratios in singles!

I'd like to know why DougRNS's awesome weather app has Jefferson City as the only city in East Tennessee. It's like the 20th largest one by population.

Mostly. For now. Some will be further processed into apple butter. Some are going into storage whole. Some get eaten right off the tree. There will also be cider.

Slow night. Everyone must be making a batch of sauerkraut.

Chopping cabbage is kind of taxing. It should count as a Strava activity.
