cons of Ebikes your opinion
Hello all. just like opinions on ebikes
to my opinion i don't like them
reason too many unfit non cyclists use them and try to bike past me, but i can out ride them still
i figure if u want to have priviledge or riding a good speed, get in shape
other wise, just bike slow

I ride regular human-only powered bikes. I also occasionally ride ebikes. I have two of them (BionX & eZee powered rides) plus three regular bikes. Since Labour Day 2010 I've only ridden my ebikes twice and regularly commute, five days a week, by "regular" bikes.
But that's my choice. To ebike or not to ebike.
Has it ever occurred to you that some people ride ebikes because they have health issues that have nothing to do with fitness levels? Of course not. You're too full of yourself and your sadly delusional sense of superiority.
Ah, what's the point? You're not open to the idea. You're just here to insult and belittle people so you can make yourself feel better about yourself (deep down you know you're the inferior creature, no point in arguing that otherwise you wouldn't be here belittling ebikers).
I think I'll just quit while I'm ahead. No point in wallowing in the muck with you. Lets have a mod shut this thread down. It's completely pointless and serves no purpose.
Before I leave I'd like to pass on a little advice to "worldtraveller." Your spelling, grammar and syntax are awful, just terrible, really. You should seriously look at improving your education.

That wasn't exact where i wanted this forum to end up.
I wrote what I wrote to just increase some interest on subject.
So people could pass on all the pros and cons to riding an Ebike?
or more less why people who ride regular bikes also would ride an Ebike, or not.
That was the point I wanted to create?

If E-bikes are used instead of cars, in the car lanes, then that's great! But I don't want them in the bike lanes or on multi-use paths because they are capable of being ridden too fast by people who are not as likely to be able to control the vehicle (because you can hop on it and day one go 30mph or whatever, whereas a cyclist most likely will have years of riding/handling experience in the books before he can ride at fast speeds). Thankfully, the law makers of my state (California) agree that e-bikes are not bicycles.

Ebikes, and more likely single seat and aerodynamically efficient electric assisted velomobiles I believe will play a much bigger personal transport role in the future. We simply don't have enough resources on this planet to continue using multi-tonne, fossil fuel burning vehicles for short, single-occupant trips like we do now. However, right now the overwhelming majority of power assisted cyclists I encounter, both electric and gas motor powered, are some of the most obnoxious, dangerous, and selfish road and MUP users I have ever encountered. That's just my experience to date. I'm glad that when I encounter them they're on an ebike and not in a car.

As you can see in heading this is ebike subforum.
for people who accepted ebikes, who ride or want to ride ebikes.
What is the point in starting this thread?
Do you go example on Honda Acura forum and start thread "what's the point of driving Acura" ???
We want on this subforum to help people with technical issues, review ebikes , to help people to get on ebikes NOT to question if ebikes makes sense.

It's always amazing when a troll actually starts the thread. What a negative way to word a question, not very effective if you were really looking for information.
