Hi @Deal4Fuji , in this update not yet, but yesterday I raised another issue with tech so we are working on getting that back for the Bike Forums community! Thank you for your patience with that. I know it has been a long time coming and I will closely monitor the situation.

Yikes. I haven't seen it on desktop yet but the mobile has some serious UX issues.
Quotes are no longer obvious or set apart, and the difference in text between a thread with new posts and one without is extremely subtle. And those are just the things I noticed in the first few seconds.

To my eyes the mobile looks quite a bit better visually. Better fonts and contrast. So far I have not seen the flashes of unformatted HTML between pages, and I think the back button is returning to the same spot on the prior page.
So far so good.

@Flatballer I am not seeing the "difference in text between a thread with new posts and one without" that you are talking about. Can you please send me a screenshot?
Used to be that thread you've read was basically non bold and smaller point.
Now the size is almost the same, and they're both bold, but slightly different amounts of bold. The icon on the right is still different, but it used to be very obvious from the titles and now it takes three looks.

This is what the quotes from before the update look like now. Italics, no spaces, no box, nothing. Tough to follow.

You guys didn't fix the bugs introduced in the update a year ago, now you are adding more features?

That's not smart. That simply adds more things to break.
Get it together. BF has way too many competitors with more traffic, more features, and fewer issues.
Adding "likes" won't make this site better.

Breadcrumbs beneath the last post on a page pretty pretty super awesome please. We had it before after I suggested it but it went away after the last major upgrade and it’s still not back.

Is there a spelling auto-correct that can't be disabled?
I tried to write "EPS", all caps in one response, and found it posted as all lower case. I then tried editing it, and the same, lower case was posted.
What gives?
EPS

I see the EPS in all caps on my end. What version of the site, device and browser are you using? Please make sure your browser cache is cleared as well.

The second post, it scrambled it (as well as changing the text that was quoted). Length of post after Quote?

Desktop version. As i said, firefox.
I'm not sure what you mean by bikeforumsng, or where to recover that number.
Just clicked on "preview"... Blam!!!! My post completely changed, plus the "ng" in your post changed to lowercase.
Anyway, whatever is editing my post is also killing off abbreviations. Ok?

I don't use a lot of uppercase only, although will occasionally use it to highlight certain items. The first time I noticed the issue was this afternoon on BikeForums (some word processors will do autocorrect of capital issues, although one can usually work around it).
And, of course, abbreviations. EPS, OK, etc.
I sent myself an E-Mail, and it was fine.
I haven't posted on many other forums lately. But, I am a member on a couple of other forums, and I'll see if they're experiencing the issue. But, it would be an interesting coincidence that the issue cropped up the day of the update.
I am often a bit wordy, but this struck me with one of my rare very short quote replies.

EDIT: Looks like just a run-of-the-mill anti-internet-shouting blocker (The above was all caps)....so long as there is more than the caps, nothing seems askew on FF66.0.3, BikeForumsNG skin, on Linux WRT caps

Mentions/quote notification should be #1 priority. It generates more use.
You mean that more people possibly view your profile?
I killed that stuff off in the last version and never lacked for people looking at that, same for quotes.
Let's get the posting and editing features up and running right first? Mentions etc. were the last things added into it anyway

You miss the point. Some of us actually like to communicate with each other:
Quotes and mentions are a great tool for doing that, also for moving discussions forward within a large and diverse thread. Just look at the number of times quotes have been used to forward this discussion.

I imagine that he means that those of us who get e-mail notification of quotes and mentions are more likely to come back more frequently because our interest has been piqued to wonder what people are saying about our comments not that we want to look at the profiles of people...
And mentioning [and quoting] someone draws their attention to the thread in which they've been mentioned, which they might not otherwise visit, again bringing up the number of visits.
More page views => more revenue...
