Anyone in the US have experience ordering from starbike.com?
I'm located in the US and interested in ordering some items from starbike.com but I'd like to hear from anyone here, also in the US, who has some experience with them first: did the transaction process proceed smoothly? How long did it take for the order to arrive? Were there any problems that were difficult to resolve?
The cost savings is fairly substantial versus ordering via a US website but I'm not sure I'd want to order internationally if it will take a month or longer for the items to arrive.

If this is more appropriate for the retailer feedback forum could a mod please move it?
This is just a quick run-down. I intended to write something more in-depth but there was a problem with my order that is currently in the process of being resolved...
I placed an order with them on Aug 7th and received my items on Aug 18th. The order process was simple: I placed the order online and received a confirmation email shortly after. Then received another email when the order was processed, then another email with a tracking number when the order arrived at the shipping depot.
The credit-card transaction was in Euros so there will be a foreign currency fee on my CC.
The items were shipped internationally via DHL then transferred to USPS upon arrival in the US. Since the value of my order was less than the import duty threshold I didn't have to pay any duty though I've heard rumors that DHL sometimes sends dunning letters to collect for import broker fees much later so we'll see.
However, there was a manufacturing problem with one of the items I ordered, a B&M IQ Cyo Premium headlamp. I don't fault starbike.com for this but, since they are located in Germany, resolution poses certain challenges that aren't usually present when dealing with domestic retailers.
I'll update this once the matter is resolved.

I order stuff from Chain Reaction in England all the time.Just like ordering from here.I've received stuff from them in 4 days.
I've never had to return anything so I'm sure how that works.

Well, I placed an order, so we'll see how it goes. So far, process seems to be prompt and user friendly.
