I friend picked this up at the curb for me - I think it is a 1996 Rockhopper that as very few original parts but the CrMo Aluminum frame looks good. I suspect it was converted to a college commuter at some point and got left behind at the college campus in town. I'm calling it the CurbHopper. Looks like the wheelset is a freewheel replacement.

I just find a great cyclotouring bike for my girlfriend (i get the perfect sizing for her almost like i do a custom for her!)
