Which bike for City Commuter and grocery getter?

Which bike for City Commuter and grocery getter?
For 200 I can either get a Giant A2 SL or a Pure Cycle Urban Commuter. The Giant seems more versatile but I can't find out much about it. Which do you think is better?

Which one is more fun to ride? If you don't enjoy it, it'll end up gathering dust.

I could find no pics of the Giant, but the Pure Cycles looks like a basic hybrid, which would be fine for an all-round bike. I do everything but designated mountain bike trails with a similar bike. Now if you get into some particular form of cycling extensively, then it's time for a second bike. 
Grocery hauling typically implies a rear rack, possibly with a side bag or basket. Hauling more than a few pounds of groceries in a backpack gets old. Racks that attach just to the seatpost tend to wiggle around too much for this use, so it's worth convincing yourself that whatever bike you get, can accommodate a conventional frame-mount rack.

There's probably a good 30+ lbs of stuff in the three bags in the above pic.

I just completed my 5000th recorded commute mile on a '95 Trek 800 Sport. Bought in late 2013. Outfitted with Topeak rack, soft-sided topeak bag, and a pair of Axiom waterproof panniers.
Like a camel, it does everything, ... maybe just not best... lol....

yeah I'm quite sure they both have places to attach a rack. So given that, which one is better? Or better question....The Fuji A2 SL is now $150...the urban comuter is 200. Would the Urban commuter be $50 better?
