The Eagle derailleur makes it 1970-1974. That one looks like a DE100 from 1974.

Not sure if it was headed for the dump but I replied to a FB ad with this picture in it.
This was in that tangle of frames minus wheels, stem and bars. Ended up buying a bunch of other stuff from him, this picture was just the tip of the iceberg! I figure I have about $10 in it as purchased. 1991 DiamondBack Momentum, Tange Infinity frame, HiTen fork. Decals are roached and has lots of nicks and scratches. I'm going to try to touch up the paint but I'm probably going to strip all the decals.

He had the DB pulled out for me and at a different location when I got there so I didn't get to pick through this pile but I have no doubt there was a Fuji or 2. He had a storage unit stack floor to ceiling with parts and I ran out of time picking though just that. I came home with much more than I went to pick up, he even had the drop center rims I needed for my late 30's Elgin. He said there were 3 more trailer loads and 2 truck loads besides this. It was part of an estate sale and he said he only got half the bikes! He's in LaSalle, IL. if you want his FB contact info. He's a little guy and kind of scary looking at first glance but is actually super nice and VERY reasonable on prices. If you talk to him don't plan on contributing much to the conversation though, I don't think I got to finish one sentence in the hour I spent with him. In fact, I don't think he finished one either LOL. I wish I'd had more time, I am going to try to get back up there one of these days, probably not until next year though.

Leopardskin sidewalls...
I have a number of old bikes that were hung up for years/decades that have this same condition, but I still ride them!
The sidewalls flake/slough off, but the tires are fine!
Not structural at all...
These bikes are used in the neighborhood and I generally don’t ride them any further than I am ready/willing to walk home if they go bad...
There are replacement tires waiting for that day...both tires will be changed then...

The Maruishi was on the toss pile at the coop so I coughed up a few ducks and the Roadace RX6 is now mine.

Pretty cool pick up from a local auction. Mid 90’s Paramount PDG Series 70 mountain bike and a set of Mavic Cross Ride 26 disc wheels in the same lot. I guess the folks watching the auction didn’t know what they were because I got them for $1.

Under further inspection someone put a little time and a few pricey components on this bike. The frame has some scraping, but the White industries hubs on Mavic wheels, Ringle Zooka stem and Ritchie’s bars are pretty cool.

Got this schwinn from the dump today. All it needed was a front wheel, everything else is great. Too big for me so I'm gonna sell it.

Snagged these off FB Marketplace a couple days ago for $60. Sun Rhyno Lite 26 X 27mm with SST spokes and Deore hubs. They got water under the plastic packaging and have some minor stains on the rims but are fully functional.
