SOLD!!! 1993 Merckx Team Telekom frameset, 56cm.

For sale is this 1993 Eddy Merckx Team Telekom Corsa frameset. ORIGINAL PAINT. Columbus SL tubing. Seat tube is 56cm CTC, top tube is also 56cm CTC. Stand over height when built with 700 X 25c tires is 32.5 inches.

I purchased this frameset several years ago but never got around to building it up. Italian BB threading, 26.4 crown race, 130mm rear dropout spacing, internal top tube cable routing. Comes with seat post binder bolt, rear dropout screws and bottle of nail polish that’s a perfect match for the pink/magenta.

As you can see from the photos, it is in terrific condition.

Price is $550. SOLD!!! Does not include shipping, but I’ll pack and ship it myself and use Ship Bikes as they are the least expensive right now.

Questions? Just ask.

I always liked how Columbus SL rode compared to SLX (on De Roses and Merckxs). Beautiful frame!

Me too. I've had a couple of these 90's Merckx framesets with 130 OLD and internal brake cable routing, and the SL has always seemed the most comfortable to me.

Beats me, I never built it up. Perhaps someone else can chime in here with that information.
Takes 25's for sure.

Unique frame: 1993 Corsa is the end of the old classic version (in 1994 Columbus Thron appeared instead of SL/SP), and in excellent condition and cool colours... unfortunately for me it's the other end of the world (and the purchase is doubly taxed) - someone else will have a lot of fun The question of the inquisitive researcher: what do factory markings look like? Was the C for Corsa still used?
