New in San Francisco, moved from Australia
Hi everyone,
I've recently moved from Brisbane, Australia to San Francisco to prepare for my future career.
I've left all my beloved bikes back home, but brought an electric bike with me to assist my daily travels to work.

Welcome to the northern hemisphere! An electric bike might be helpful for those SF hills!
From what I gather the vintage bike market may be pricier in SF, but maybe you can find a nice bike in beater disguise for cheap while you’re here.

An electric bike is probably a wise decision. I'm lucky enough to have a relatively flat route to and from work, but going west means I'm going to get a bit sweaty. If you haven't heard about it yet, look up the Wiggle; it's a way to get from Market to the Panhandle that avoids the hills as much as possible.
