Heck yes B-52s and rad bikes!!!
Just the tires though:
The Pro version of these are great but sadly I couldn't seem to get both mounted only the one so I needed a replacement so I could ride my Fixed Gear/Single Speed RandoCross FunTime Machine again though really the plan is to stretch out the Pro and then mount them to my touring bike and then put the Strada Biancas back on it and move the new tires to the hybrid and all is good in the world.
Panda Power MF!
and I scored some Duraace Track Sprockets for cheap so I picked some extras up to have around in case I need 'em in the future or someone else needs one.

A cog(wheel) has sprockets on it -- Sprockets themselves only refer to the actual teeth (tooth?) of a cogwheel. Right?

Think it's the other way around. a sprocket has cogs (or teeth) on it, a cogwheel (a wheel with cogs) and sprocket are synonymous. but let's be honest, for bike purposes calling your rear sprocket a cog is totally fine.

In the context of engineering it's called a sprocket by almost everyone. In the context of bikes it's called a cog by almost everyone.
I'm not defending the (mis)use, just reporting it.

Funny, I've also owned a Rock Lobster, although it was steel:
I really liked the bike. I wasn't the original owner. The angles were just a little too lax for me, even on long rides.
I replaced it with a Giant TCR Advanced ISP, which is an amazing bike, but too fancy and fragile for my daily driver and training sled. I've got my eyes on a custom made (for me) steel ride in about 12-18 months.

No, reverse that.
A sprocket is a round disk with teeth. The teeth are called cogs. A sprocket without teeth is a pulley. Sprockets connect to each other and are moved by chains.
Gears mesh directly with each other. Gears have no chains.
The difference between gears and sprockets has profound implications for cycling. Most bikes have no gears but have sprockets, making it impossible to "change gears" or "shift gears". One can change sprockets or shift gear ratios but it is impossible to change gears on a bike with only sprockets.
There are implications for derailleurs as well, as one highly intelligent person pointed out in the cogs, gears sprockets thread.

Friday I put on a new chain, the first since Ive had my bike. Went from a KMC 410 to the 410 Nickel. My local LBS recommended it, as far as what they had in stock. And today I replaced my haggered Fyxation foam tape with Fizik Performance, and already love it, as well as put on some Pure Cycle straps. The Fizik tape is as comfortable as my thick foam tape and looks sharper and Im sure will be more durable. The Pure cycle straps seem to be of good quality, not as good as my Fyxation ones but for half the price theyre more than half as good it seems.

Coming full circle from my argument with @nagrom in which I advocated against multi tools, I've ordered a Crank Brothers Pika.

For the Rock Lobster. Just need a BB and cable kit now, and the group and wheels will come over from the MX Leader.

Ritchey WCS Classic bars. The old traditional bend version this time, instead of the newer round/flat top shape.

The G-One's seem to wear fast but no, the rear is only about half gone. The front looks almost new.
I want to try a wider tire for a little while. Interested in seeing the negative impact extra weight has on pavement vs the improvement to ride quality from extra width when off roading.
At a certain point I get tired of reading reviews, theory, opinions, conjecture and people saying what they think it will do, etc. and the need for empirical evidence takes over. A good price at Merlin helped. Whatever the outcome, they will be thoroughly tested and I'm sure I'll have loads of fun doing it.
Bring your SPD's next time we ride and you can help test.
