Shimano PD-MX80 Saint Pedals

I put the Shimano PD-MX80 Saint Pedals on my Giant Escape today. I took the long way home and road for about an hour. They are much more comfortable than the stock pedals. My feet feel much more stable on the pedal. I also have a problem with my feet pronating out, and with these wider pedals, my feet are much straighter. All in all, a good purchase.

Do they have any mounting points for plastic toe clips at all? It seems that the "better quality" pedals do not provide a way of mounting them.

Those pedals look good with that frame. And in general, I love riding that style of pedal.

Yep, good pedals. I have a pair on a road bike. I may buy another pair for the hybrid.

Definitely not. They are MTB pedals not road.

The OP will be the envy of teenagers everywhere. Toe clips on those pedals would be a sacrilege. That said, the commuter bike I have on order comes with a different style of BMX pedal, and there are straps available that slide in through slots in the sides of those pedals. There are no such slots on the Saints though.

Did not intend sarcasm. I meant my comment more lightheartedly.

Edit: Looking back again, I can see now how my earlier comment came across badly. Please accept my apologies, because clearly I wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote it.

Great pedals. Durable, easy to service if it ever becomes necessary, and a serious bargain, since they're going for $50 nowadays. Look great, too, IMO.
I've had them on my mountain bike for >3.5yrs. Tried them on my hybrid before buying a lighter pedal, and (of course)liked them much better than the stock ones. Weight is their only real downside, and the only reason I didn't get another pair for my hybrid. Bought the Xpedo Spry for ~$15 more, which came in 210g/7.4oz lighter for the pair, with similar dimensions.
