Advice for buying a complete fixie?
Whats a good complete fixie i can buy with a budget of like 400$
ive been looking around but i dont know much about fixies.. suggestions? I can mayb push it up to at the most 450..
Id like it to be a flip/flop hub for single and fixed btw..

can anyone tell me whats so special about the KTT?
Also do you think the tires would be good for street riding.. like around town and on roads..
I dont know how easy fixie tires pop over potholes and what not..
Would some 28 thick slicks be a wise choice?

It's within your budget and not junk.
Never tried thick slicks. I don't really skid much though, so I just ride regular roadie tires, not "fixie" tires. Keep enough air in tires and they won't pop over potholes.

You don't need 28 thick slicks. 2 would work just fine.

Zantos, go to bikesdirect.com and buy a kilo tt and put in the special comments section that you want the non-popping fixie tires designed for street riding, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. They're good starter bikes, and there is a reason why a lot of people recommend them.
