If I ever need reminding this is an American forum I'll just look at this thread

The idea of a mini clubman being a small car is kind of comical to me.

Although I grew up owning every variety of VW there ever was (all the old classic air cooled ones), the Mini clubman is quite a bit downsizing from my VW Passat station wagon, so yes, I consider it a sub compact.
I'm happy to find that I can fit my 48cm Mercier mini velo in it, but it takes dropping the stem down, reversing the front fork direction (so that the dropouts will fit between the wheel wells), removing both wheels and removing the seat.
But fortunately, I can take it out and have it reassembles in a few minutes.
