The Mini (by BMW) is not so much an Economy car in the states.... The Bromie would have been perfect if the paint matched the car over here as an accessory.

I'm not sure who these "people" are, but I've certainly never met them. I'll take your word for it that you have, although I do wonder what country they've come from to be spending less on bikes than Americans

If I ever need reminding this is an American forum I'll just look at this thread
The idea of a mini clubman being a small car is kind of comical to me.
The idea of a mini clubman being a small car is kind of comical to me.
Although I grew up owning every variety of VW there ever was (all the old classic air cooled ones), the Mini clubman is quite a bit downsizing from my VW Passat station wagon, so yes, I consider it a sub compact.
I'm happy to find that I can fit my 48cm Mercier mini velo in it, but it takes dropping the stem down, reversing the front fork direction (so that the dropouts will fit between the wheel wells), removing both wheels and removing the seat.
But fortunately, I can take it out and have it reassembles in a few minutes.

Just for fun, 115 years ago: Peugeot Captain Gerard folder in what looks like a 1902 Peugeot Type 54 two seat roadster.
