Spring is here? St Paul MN

Well, I was told the first day of spring was this week. So I wake up this morning and it's 8 degrees F here in St Paul, MN . It got up to 18 degrees F. this afternoon and I decided to take my first bike ride of the year.

I got the old Dahon folding bike out and took the dog out for a bike ride. It was a really nice ride for 18 degrees.

The forecast is 4 degrees tonight and more snow on Monday.

Maybe someday the snow will melt and the temps will get up over 60 degrees.

Don't know how you guys do it in the Upper Midwest. Perhaps the white snow is so pretty it cheers you up.
I'm with you, hate winter with a passion.

Ya no kidding. Our roads on the western side of the world are clearing up so I am ready to take the Sekine out but todays cold is too much. Don't want to be going at road bike speeds at these temps. Potholes here on Tuxedo Blvd are just as bad as Energy Park Drive. Maybe I'll take the mtb out and ride around town 'cause it's nothing but block-long hills so I can wreck myself going slow up, and break the speed going down. I hate frostbite.

(I don't own a folder, but...)

Yeah, it was too cold for me to ride in MN yesterday. I'm thinking about it today, but looking forward to next week...
It's been some winter.
