leegf...love your bike - its a beauty
I like vintage bikes myself and some of the details on older Supercorsa are really cool, but...
as someone who has owned both an 80s & a 90s SC, presently rides a 90s SC Pista daily, and ridden and considered buying even older and more recent framesets - I can tell you this is utter nonsense...

I am so glad the old Parmount folks kept going because they make some real nice stuff.

Not sure if I've posted this. This is my all day rider. Mix of vintage and modern parts. I clearly need better photo.

Updated my vintage Ron Cooper roadie with a rear wheel change to match the front wheel. More details if you are interested in this C&V thread:

Thanks. I agree about the flap, just haven't bought it yet. The frame I built myself in a class and should be the first of many.

I have since switched back to SPD-SL pedals and upgraded to an Ultegra 53/36 crank. No motivation to take a picture since I don't have a decent camera (obviously).

Replaced the Tiagra brifters with Gevenalle (Retroshift) CXVs and replaced the cantis with Shimano Deore V-Brakes. Gearing up for DK100.

Normally when we speak of "geared" bikes we think of a derailleur shifting system, however, the venerable IGH is also a legitimate candidate for this title. Recently, my Schwinn Speedster 3-speed IGH had its fortieth birthday, and I'm showing its modern successor, the Salsa Casseroll conversion from SS to 7-speed IGH. Although heavier than a derailleur system, there are many advantages such as a completely enclosed gear system and the ability to use a full length chainguard.
