Boring?
Ever notice that complaints about how boring and predictable bike racing is only seem to pop up around July? You'd almost think some people only watch one race a year...

Pro Cycling isn’t “exciting or boring”
One can’t be on the edge of their seat the ENTIRE time. Pro races, whether Grand Tours, Semi Classics, weeklong stage races or monuments are like stories with a prelude, characters and plot development and a climax.
The Tour is certainly the biggest race, and it’s awesome. Some years are better than others.
But it’s certainly not the most interesting, and not the best.
To me, the Giro and Vuelta are both more exciting. But MSR, Flanders; Amstel, Worlds and Lombardia are the best.

I too find pro racing boring (althought i watch tdf). However, ultraracing is much more interesting for me. Especillay unsupported ones like Tanscontinental race... this is where the fun begins.

I'm really only into Le Tour de France. I guess if I made more of an effort with other races, my Fantasy team wouldn't embarrass me so much.
