My new dream bike... Parlee Z5SL : AC/DC
Just read about this bike and I am in love with it. Parlee Z5SL with all the goodies on it. 12.9 pounds and hot as hell!!!

Frame weight of 780 grams. Not too shabby.

Sorry but a $2,000 or $3,000 bike is not going to compare to this one in the dream world. Not one detail of this bike was overlooked. I can't imagine how much time was spent just customizing the crankset and shifters.

I know Europeans have a long history with cycling and bike manufacturing, but for my money, the best american bike makers (mostly boutique and independent manufacturers) are making the truly beautiful frames right now. That Parlee Z5SL is the best looking frame I've seen in a long time. I am trusting that the ride is also sublime.
Just look at those lines!

I tried not to love it, but what do you know? I did. The font looks really cool and I love the aesthetic overall. I would prefer it to only have the subtle hints and and not actually say AC/DC anywhere on it. That said, I'm going to go put some Bon Scott era AC/DC on the turntable.

I believe the Z5 is currently made in China (see below). Also, I too love the way it looks, but it's just constant diameter round tubes in a conventional sloping diamond frame. Nothing very distinctive there except perhaps the graphics.

I kinda imagined it without the graphics, and it sure looks very "clean" design-wise.
And the frame weight is very nice too.
