Diamond Back Centurion Interval

My daily rider is a early 90s DB Centurion Interval. My question is does anyone have much info on these? I think its a great riding older bike. The tubing seems decent. Just havent found too much info on it.

1990 was the 1st year for Diamond Back road bicycles and the Interval went to an oversize, TIG welded frame for the 1991 model year, so this should be a 1990 model. The serial number should indcate the exact manufacturing date. Consequently, the tubeset should be Tange #2 and the group should be Shimano 500EX. MSRP was $429 US and it was 3rd in a line of four road models. Too bad it's not the other paint scheme, which was blue smoke fading to white.

Edit: I forgot to mention that it obviously has replacement pedals and wheels, the latter which are mismatched.

I swapped the pedals and wheels. I still have the black Araya wheels that it came with. I bought it from the original owner for 50 dollars a few months back.

I have a 1990 Expert TG which was one level up from your Interval. they are nice riding bikes. I would agree with T-Mar the frame graphics match up to a 1990 model year bike

heres my Expert:

Thanks, I tore it down to the frame and cleaned up everything and reassembled.

Looks like I'm a bit late to this party. Nice bike! I'm a bit biased though, I finally blew the dust off the 1990 Interval frameset that's been hanging from the rafters for the past 4-1/2 years, it's the twin to the yours. It's going back together with a CODA black road triple crank, Microshift R9 brifters and derailleurs, black Tektro R540 brakes, SRAM 9 speed cassette and black Mach 1 210 rims laced to black Shimano hubs with stainless spokes. I had hoped to clean and polish the frame this weekend and start assembling it but ended up having to work OT all weekend. I also picked up most of a 1991 Diamondback Momentum last weekend, it's missing bars, stem, shifters, wheels and all the cables. Everything else is there and in pretty decent shape except for the down tube decals. It was a lower level bike and not quite as nice as the Interval, I'm going to build it as a beater, something I can take to work and ride the nearby bike path after work, time and weather permitting.

This is my Interval as purchased, no pics of the Momentum yet.
