Positioning ergo handlebar grips??

Greetings,
I purchased a pair of ergonomic handle bar grips for my Mongoose Tyax and I'm not sure how to position them. Any advice?
Also, what's the best we to remove the original grips?
Thanks very much for any info,
Mike

The grips should come with instructions on how to position them, but you can start out by making them level. Take an allen wrench with you as you ride and you can stop and reposition them until they feel perfect.

The original grips are a pain to get off sometimes, try exerting a steady pull while twisting them back and forth. You don't have to do it all at once, you can get them part way off, take a break and come back to it.

get some rubbing alcohol under the grips by sliding a small philips or awl between the bar and the grip, and pouring the alcohol in. the grip will slide off as if it was geased. use alcohol to install new grips
