Have you found C&V within printed material?

There are plenty of C&V books around, slews of bicycling magazines and decades of manufacturers yearly catalogs that directly focus on what is now classic and vintage.
What about the obscure blurbs? The Bike Boom articles that were sprinkled within the pages of other, non-cycling magazines? Or the quick bits that were coming out while Greg was still winning Tours? Or even today, pieces are being created to pay homage to our vintage delights.

What have you seen that subtly represents, or showcases, C&V in print?

I come across huge amounts of the stuff via printed material and searching google books. Google books has a LARGE amount of material that isn't on the "regular" internet. I recently had someone offer loan of a bicycle poetry book from 1900 for me to scan which I hope to do soon.

I like doing research but usually with a narrow focus like the bike I am working on.

I found an ad for a 1918 Sears and Robuck bike used as a bookmark in a book about "History's Greatest War" printed in about 1918. I've been meaning to do a post on it. I'll get around to it. I promise.

I'm sure many on the board (including myself) would love to see it!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot these. I'll likely remember more when my wife's inlaws go home and I can think with my brain again.
