El Dorado Crit 2020, will there be races?

I usually see the El Do available on the USA Cycling website, but don't see it anymore.

Will there be and El Do Crit series for 2020? Is it not appearing because of the fatality last year?

I'm not seeing anything posted for the current year. Everything is dated 2019 or earlier.

Last year I told myself that I was going to give it a try and not worry about how bad I humiliated myself, and I didn't. This will be the year. I'm 65 and will race in the Masters division. Too bad I can't ride in the kid races, I'm sure I could probably finish in the top 10.

I have no reason not to give it a try. I could walk my bike to the starting line from my house.

DO it!! I live right by Liberty park and my ride to the crit is my warm up. It's perfect. The first time I rode, I was dropped on first lap. The second time, I was dropped 3 laps in. After that, I finished with the pack.

My goal is to finish upper 50%.

You more than Likely WIll be riding with the youngsters, as there are usually only 2 groups with Mixed Catagories riding together.

I've gone there and watched..and there are a few groups. As follows: PRO 1, 2 and 3; 4-5's and Masters...plus the kids are in their own groups....boys 14-18, boys 13 and under and Girls 13 and under from what I see of photos of results. Guessing no girls in 14-18 category yet. They start at different times.

It's all good. I think that with the adult men it is hard to tell who is in what race after a bit as they seem to get blended. Think bib color is what differentiates them. I could be wrong on that tho.

I am actually going to do the TT. Female, over 50 and an "Athena" I just want to see how well I can do. Not up for racing close to others. I was there last year when they had bad crash on last night of year. It was tragic.
