Vintage? Red Bianchi

Good Day,

I would appreciate any help to determine the description and value of this bike.

Thanks,

Alan

1983, made in Japan, 27" wheels. I have that about $150 if all is in working order. Being red and bianchi helps but I don't see this at $200

Depends on location. Early in the spring time it could see $200. This late in the season anywhere is cold you may get $100.

Not to be evil but because I can always use a set of bar end shifters I would swap those out for downtube shifters. I find bar ends better but they would probably not add much to the sale of the bike as a whole.

Is that even the original fork? The back wheel isn't installed, the alloy 27 is worming, horrible cablestop convert, pinpost, ripped and aged brake levers hoods, low level tubing, pictures of poor quality. I think I need to re-evaluate. Lol

As-is about $30

Some simple stuff properly set and align set the rear wheel lower the stem a half inch and raise the seat bit to get a nice top line pump tires patch tubes if needed oil the chain so it; is rideable and give it a nice cleaning and it is a $200 bike that may sell. As presented it's a $100 that likely won't sell. Also take the nice lock off and keep it if you leave it on the bike it will be basically a $40 giveaway with the keys to the new owner.
