Trued my first wheel
I have had this Centurian for over 40 years and never tried the wheels, or at least I can't remember ever doing it. Last night I did a very basic job with the tire off the rim because several if not all of he nipples had rusted. A little WD40 and some careful testing with the spoke wrench and the wabble was gone. I was quite proud of myself. Now I need to replace a couple of broken spokes on my new (to me) Rocky Mountain.

Well done. If you're going to be doing more of this, consider getting a better penetrating oil than WD-40.
And were you also able to check or correct for radial true?

Thanks, andrewclaus, and no, it is a bit out of true radial, but not so much that I notice it when I am riding, or that interferes with the brake pads and I think it's a little beyond my pay grade so to speak. I need to replace spokes on my new to me Rocky Mountain Sherpa that I got from a guy on Craigslist, plus tighten up some loose spokes so as I get a better deal for this, I may give it a go. The wheel on the rocky mountain has no rust so I suspect the spokes will move a bit easier. I need to go to an auto parts store tomorrow so I will pick up some. I have used Liquid Wrench in the past, just didn't have any.
I fill a hypo and use that for things like spoke nipples and other small pieces.
Much less mess than a spray.
