I shave my legs in the bath with scented candles like vanilla, and a Norah Jones album, maybe some white wine and colored lighting too.

My reason for shaving is really simple. Being shaved before a crash makes for less road rash, a much cleaner wound, less raw skin to stick bandages to, faster recover and best of all, those sweet words from the ER nurse "thank you for shaving so I don't have to".
I rode my first two seasons of racing with hairy legs. Crashed in a race 3 days after my first shave. Sold! Never wanted to go through the aftermath of a hairy crash again.
