Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wow, over thinking this much? There is a whole thread over on roadbikereview forums about this dude that passed these guys then couldn't hang, then whimped by going right.

Wow. I feel this exact same way sometimes. Now that there's two of us, you wanna be friends or something? Or at least start a club or something? We could have group rides where we just ride around and make fun of people for not being like us.

This thread is living on borrowed time.

I think it's heading in the same direction as the casio watch thread...

Your at fault here. You cannot judge anyone else based on how they ride. I ride solo 95% of the time, its my personal time trial everytime. If I pass you at 26mph, I meant to. You were my target from 1/2 a mile away.

Don't be upset because you had a racing mentality and got smacked. I was riding my daily 50 when I saw a rider 3/4mile behind me, I held 21 mph into a headwind and was eventually caught, did I try to drop him? Hell yes! It hurt my pride because he was 20 years my elder and a cat 2, but its a life lesson. There is always someone with more wattage than you, deal with it.

Oh yes, and I want that jersey, I am an arrogant bastard. Love the ale and I don't mind eating my own words/pride.

I think you should start your bromance by waving to each other every time you pass.

You guys sound needy and therefore don't qualify as sane...

I can handle getting dropped. Everyone has at some point in time...EVERYONE! I just don't enjoy it by an AB DH DB CS.

Sorry for my foul language.
