You know, I never intended for the bike to be a townie. I was just shooting for a more upright seating position and slightly cushier ride. But I suppose that's what it's becoming. I'll definitely post pics in that thread when it's finished, but don't get your hopes up too much - it's nothing all that special

How's your gravel bike coming along? I found a trail over here on the east side by the Chattahoochee river that is really fine gravel and fun to ride. It's only a couple miles, but there are a lot of deer trails too, so there's a lot to explore.. Where are you riding gravel?

I haven't done gravel in a bit, not since I put Rubino Speed graphene tires on my road bike but mostly Paulding County. I'd love to ride near the Hooch with you once I get it built.
And to be on topic, I didn't think about needing a mount inside the seatpost for the Di2 battery. It just never dawned on me that I needed something like this.

They should just throw one of those in the box with M520's. Great little tool, especially if you have a vise.

How did a tiny piece of glass find it's way so far up in between those jumbo treads? Weird.

I hope it's possible to use without a vise, lol. Agreed on the packaging, they are only $2 or so. Got it to work on some nashbar pedals that developed a squeaking sound on a fixed gear bike.

Tim,
The bike is looking pretty good! Not to much left to install, maybe just the chain? I'm curious how the Di2 works though, guessing there's some tuning electronically? Does that work on pulses? We should definitely ride, looks like the spring is finally out in Atlanta!
What kind of battery does the Di2 have? Is it proprietary? I guess it makes sense for it to be up in the seatpost where it's nice and dry!

What is Q?
The mount is from Problem Solvers but Origin8 and others make them.
Lights are Bontrager ION with ANT+ remote control. Haven't purchased those yet and I'm searching for other brands that do remote control but haven't found anything without external wired batteries.

I think I'm going to head over to Conyer's tomorrow and spend some time at the Trappist monastery.
The county just extended the MUP and it ends right at the front door of the Abbey Church. Maybe see if one of the monks will hear my confession.
