Most puncture-resistant RACING tubular
Hi all -
Need advice on the most puncture-resistant racing tubular. I have decided life is too short to ride crappy training wheels, so i plan to ride my Stingers a lot more (FWIW, even with clinchers, i dont use training tires and have never had reason to second-guess that decision).
I've had Vittoria Evo Corsas on them, but found them a little prone to getting flats. I have put a Veloflex Roubaix 25 on the back, and am looking for a comparable wheel to go in the front.
To reiterate - i am not looking for the most puncture-resistant tubular. There are plenty of training tubs and they ride like dogs. I am looking for the least-resistant *racing* tub.
Any suggestions from the universe of Veloflex, FMB or Dugast? Black sidewalls a must (yeah, i am vain that way).
TIA
(Btw, do i need a secret password to access the Racers Forum?)

Take any rubber tubular and age it for a year (properly) and it'll be pretty resistant. Take the same tire and mount it immediately and it'll cut and wear very quickly.

Vittoria Pave EVO CG III. It's what the pros use at Paris-Roubaix.

The racer's forum. The links are a little wonky and the URL changed at some point in the last year so it's hard to find.

I'd recommend the FMB or Dugast Paris-Roubaix tires but they have either a green or tan sidewall.
The Veloflex Arenberg has a black sidewall and is very similar to the Roubaix.

Usually the Continental gp4000 is suggested. I know they've been very fast rolling + grippy tires for me. Kinda of amazing that they do both, and still have good flat protection.

Sorry guys, I should have mentioned i am looking for a 23 up front. The Pave is a 25, and so is the Arenberg, if I am not mistaken. Is there a 23c version of these tires? FMBs do have a black 22, so that could do, I suppose.
Cyclebicycle - any tips on how to age them? I could get a couple of FMBs and stick them somewhere, i suppose.
Paul - never been a fan of GP4k clinchers or pretty much any Conti tire, for that matter. I dont find them as supple and enjoyable to ride.
